UPDATED OPENING DAY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Due to anticipated wet weather tomorrow Saturday 4/26, Opening Day will be POSTPONED until Sunday, April 27th at Welch Park (Niles Road in Windsor)!!
1. Parade (UPDATED) - Players and teams can start lining up at Poquonock Elementary School at 10:45 AM. Parade will start promptly at 11AM.
2. Opening Day Ceremony - Immediately following the parade. All Teams and coaches plan to be on field 2 after the parade, players please wear your team uniforms even if you have no game.
3. Concession stand will be open!!! Food and drinks can be purchased using cash, Venmo or Cash App. Credit Cards are not accepted.
4. Vendors will still be attending. Come support your local small businesses. Put-N-Take for equipment, bring your old equipment to donate, and pick up some that's gently used at the same time.
5. Raffles and 50/50 - there will be a raffle basket donated by the WLL Board and a 50/50 raffle that will both directly benefit WLL
6. Schedule of games for Opening Day- Most games will remain at the same time as previously scheduled. Check with your coach or on GameChanger to verify.
7. Photos: Individual and team photos will be rescheduled to another date in the future-TBD. More information to come.
8. Sunday Drop-In Clinics at Loomis are cancelled for this weekend.
